Nasim—Hundreds of Iranians gathered on Friday in Tehran to express their readiness to defend Sayeda Zainab Shrine- the daughter of first Shia Imam and a great figure of sacrifice, strength, and piety in Islam- in Damascus, the capital of Syria, from being attacked by terrorist groups in the country.Previously, anti-Shia militants attacked the mausoleum and grave of Hujr ibn Adi, a close tie to Muslim Prophet, in the Damascus suburb of Adra, taken his remains to an unknown location.Since then Iranians have gathered, occasionally to announce they are ready to fight in Syria against any possible attack on Holy shrines of ahl al-bayt.
