Santa Cruz, June 14, IRNA – First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri conferred on Saturday with Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe on issues of mutual interests, the regional and international issues.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the conference on Group of 77 Developing Countries and China in Santa Cruz.
President Robert Mugabe visited Iran in the year 2012 to attend Summit of Leaders of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and met with senior Iranian officials.
Meanwhile, Jahangiri met with speaker of senate and Bolivian president Evo Morales on issues of mutual interests.
During his stay, Jahangiri is to confer with UN secretary-general and the head of UN general assembly.
Jahangiri is to deliver a speech to the conference of leaders of the Group of 77 Developing Nations + China.
Jahangiri is due to give an interview to a Venezuelan TV.
The conference of Group of 77 Developing Countries and China opened on Saturday and will work for two days.
Member of G77 + China has increased to 132, but, the figure 77 reflects the name of the alliance and the primary number of the member states.
