TEHRAN June 17 (Shana)--National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) has 19 major gas gathering projects under way, the company’s chief said.
 “In line with environmental and recovery enhancement objectives, 19 associated gas gathering projects are under way by this company,” Hamid Bovard said.


He added that the projects, which cost more than 10 trillion rials, include construction of a gas gathering station, renovation of oil and gas processing system as well as upgrading machinery.




Bovard said renovation of processing system in Haftkal oil field and Naft Sefid oil/gas field, engineering studies for gas gathering in Rag Sefid field as well as renovation of machinery in Bibi Hakimieh and Gachsaran gas pressure booster stations are among these projects.
The official said these projects are aimed at preserving oil reservoirs pressure, making secondary recovery and protecting the environment.
