Tehran, June 27, IRNA – Former president government spokesman here Wednesday rejected protests against illegal nature of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Iranian University, arguing that those who make such accusation should prove they are true.
Gholam-Hossein Elham who was accompanying the former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the 30th anniversary of a commemoration service held for over 70 martyrs of a terrorist attack had earlier announced the opening of the university in response to a question on the matter.
“Those interested in enrollment in the Iranian University should refer to its official website,” he added.
The reporters insisted that the Science Ministry insists that this university is illegal.
“Everyone says anything they wish to say; do I have to bring reasons for not being illegal of that university respectively and defend it, or is it those who accuse that need to prove their claim?” he said.
