TEHRAN, Aug. 03 (MNA) – The motto of the year for Hajj congress has been confirmed by the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Leader’s related office.

Hojjatoleslam Seyed Ali Qazi Asgar chaired a meeting of the Organization head Saeed Ohadi and the relevant deputies of the Leader’s related regulatory office.


The meeting confirmed and announced the motto of the year for 2014 Hajj pilgrimage as being ‘spirituality, self-appreciation, and Islamic unity.’


The motto is chosen annually based on the necessities of time and priorities of Islamic world. Cultural Hajj congregations are informed by the guidelines provided by the Leader of the Islamic Republic. According to these guidelines, Hajj provides ‘unique opportunities’ for individual Muslims in path to salvation and collectively, unity for Muslims.
