Iranian national volleyball team beats Australia 3-1 in 2nd friendly

Budapest, Aug 29, IRNA – Iranian national volleyball team that is in Hungary preparing itself for FIBA World League won its 2nd friendly match versus Australia gaining 3-1 result, similar to their first game with the same team.
The game began at 8:30 pm Tehran time in Poland?s Belchatow City and the fine 3-1 result for Head Coach Slobodan Kovac?s team surely heightened their spirit for their upcoming World League competitions.
The 18th Men?s FIBA World League will begin in two days on August 30, featuring twenty four teams in four preliminary round groups.

The Iranian national volleyball team is in the league?s 4th group together with the USA, Italy, France, Belgium and Porto Rico.

Iran ranked 4th, it?s best ever, in 2013 World League, coached by Kovac, after its 6th place the previous year coached by their Argentinean head coach Julio Velasco.
