Among the celebrated Game Guards at the ceremony to celebrate outstanding Iranian Game Guards from the Conservation of the Asiatic Cheetah Project was Morteza Azizi Ahmad-Abadi from Yazd Province – located in central Iran.
He has been serving the environment for 13 years and believes that “The responsibility of protecting the environment and the wildlife which has been bestowed on our shoulders is a very heavy one […] This responsibility has given us a significant level of pride.”
