Tehran, Sept 13, IRNA – Iran and Mexico celebrated half a century of friendly relations.
In a ceremony here on Saturday, officials of the two countries commemorated the 110th anniversary of signing a letter of friendship which also coincided with the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Tehran and Mexico City.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Euro-American Affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi attended the event.
A document on mutual cooperation was also signed by the head of College of International Relations Studies affiliated to the Iranian Foreign Ministry Mostafa Boroujerdi and Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Emanuel Ikasa.
A stamp commemorating the occasion was also unveiled during the ceremony.
