Private sector ready to embrace petchem projects

TEHRAN Sept 27 (Shana)--The private sector is ready to run petrochemical projects in Iran by relying on its efficient workforce and infrastructures, head of Persian Gulf Holding said.
"The private sector enjoys proper infrastructures and an efficient workforce who would readily cooperate to expand [the country's] petrochemical industry," said Adel Najad-Salim on the sidelines of the 9th Iran Plast in Tehran.

He said the exhibition is the showcase of the industry's latest developments and is being held in a higher level in comparison to its former editions in terms of the quality and quantity of the presented items and exhibitors. 

He further said the petchem industry should progress more rapidly given the country's vast potentials and capabilities, and added that Persian Gulf Holding is ready to work hand in hand with the National Petrochemical Company for the fulfillment of major petrochemical projects. 

He also added that the transfer of knowledge and technology is one of the chief goals of Iran Plast which is being materialized pretty well at the exhibit. 

Production of high quality petrochemicals can make the country needless of petchem imports.
