TEHRAN Oct 01 (Shana)--Iranian and Russian private sectors are to discuss oil swap and transit as well as construction of mini-refineries, a private oil tradesman has said.
Hassan Khosrowjerdi, head of the Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters’ Association, said an Iranian delegation is expected to travel to Moscow to continue talks.
“Iranian companies have good experience in swap and transit, particularly under the conditions of sanctions. These experiences should be exported to other countries,” he said.
Khosrowjerdi said Iran’s Petroleum Ministry imposes no restrictions on private companies for swapping petroleum products.
He said that Iranian companies suffered losses from swap operations in recent years due to certain inexpert changes into the process.
