Kazan, Oct 30, IRNA – Iran's Presidential office for scientific and technical affairs and Tatarstan Academy of Sciences signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday.
This MoU will prepare the ground for expansion of technical cooperation between the two countries in fields of fossil and new energies as well as petrochemical productions.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minikhanov in a meeting with visting Iran's Vice President for Scientific and Technical Affairs Sorna Sattari on Thursday stressed promotion of all-out cooperation with Iran.

Minikhanov appreciated Tatarstan's relationship with Iran based on Tehran-Moscow ties.

Sattari, for his part, welcomed development of ties with Kazan and noted that Iran is ready to transfer its experiences to Tatarstan.

Sattari arrived in Kazan on Wednesday on an official visit.
