TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian troops stormed the gathering centers of Takfiri militants in Daraa and Hama provinces, inflicting heavy casualties on them.
The army soldiers staged a series of successful operations in the nearby areas of Daraa, and killed a large number of the rebels in Tal Areid, Ein Afa, Talet Ein Afa, al Fqei’, al-Dali, Nouaima, and Sheikh Meskeen.
Also, the insurgents suffered major losses in the areas in al-Aqerbat, Jana al-Albawi, al-Haddaj, Abu Dali, Souma, Tal al-Batihi, and Qasr Ibn Wardan in Hama province, as the Syrian troops made gains in their fight against the armed groups.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.
The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.
As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
