TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) – Iraqi parliament speaker Saleem al-Jabouri will visit Iran after his visit to Riyadh.
Iraqi parliament speaker's advisor, Wahda al-Jumaili, announced that Al-Jabbouri will go on a regional tour to visit four countries of Iran, Turkey, Qatar and Jordan after he returns from Riyadh.
He also stressed that Jabbouri’s trip to Riyadh was in line with the policy of resuming and normalizing the ties between Baghdad and Riyadh.
Prior to Jabbouri’s trip, Iraqi president Fouad Massoum had visited Riyadh in recent weeks and met with Saudi officials.
In his meeting with Iraqi president Fouad Massoum, Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal stressed the need to reopen Saudi embassy in Baghdad in the shortest possible time.
