TEHRAN Nov 19 (Shana)--Iran and Armenia are exploring ways to enhance cooperation in the petrochemical sector, Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelian has said.
He said that Iran’s petrochemical industry enjoys good potentials in Armenian markets.
“Tehran and Yerevan have recently held very useful talks for increasing the level of cooperation in the petrochemical industry and Armenia is ready for any cooperation and interaction for benefiting from Iran in the petrochemical industry,” said Arakelian.
“As a gas supplier to Armenia, Iran has favorable cooperation with us and Yerevan provides Iran with electricity in return for gas imports. We hope to have good cooperation in the petrochemical industry,” he added.
