Official urges Islamic world media to illuminate religious values

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA – Sudanese Deputy Information Minister Abdul-Majid Haroun said the Islamic world media and press should try to illuminate the shared religious values and beliefs.
  He made the remark Sunday morning while talking to IRNA upon arrival here to take part in the 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers to be held on December 1-4.
He stressed the influential and effective role of media and press in consolidation of solidarity within the Islamic world.

He reiterated that the meeting is providing an apt opportunity for all those who are working on ways of promoting role of media in enhancing Islamic notions in the world.

The Sudanese official further said the Muslim media have to try to spread the sublime teaching of Islam which is peace and friendship.
