TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a congratulatory message on Finland’s National Day expressed the hope for the expansion of relations between Tehran and Helsinki.
In a Saturday message to his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto, Rouhani congratulated the Nordic country’s government and nation on the Independence Day, which falls on December 6.
He also wished the Finnish nation continued prosperity all the time.
Finland’s Independence Day is a national public holiday held to celebrate its declaration of independence from the Russian Republic back in 1917.
