Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA – Iran and Mexico celebrated fifty years of diplomatic ties by issuing a stamp.
The day was marked during a ceremony held in Mexico City in the presence of Iranian Ambassador Jalal Kalantari, the Mexican deputy foreign minister for Middle east affairs Maria Carmen Onate and a number of other ranking officials.
Kalantari and Onate reiterated that the two countries are determined to further deepen cooperation and friendship.
Iran and Mexico launched their first diplomatic relations in Oct 15, 1964.
