TEHRAN, Dec. 27 (MNA) – Head of Iran’s Academic Jihad Organization has announced plans for establishing a clinic in Baku to provide medical services for infertility treatment to the neighboring countries.
Pointing to Iran’s self-sufficiency in the field of infertility treatment, Head of Iran’s Academic Jihad Organization Hamidreza Tayyebi said, "due to Azerbaijan’s high confidence in Iran’s medical capabilities, we are establishing an infertility clinic in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan."
The clinic aims at providing an acceptable range of medical services by Jihad Organization in Baku clinic and for the more specialized operations, the patients will be sent to Iran.
He emphasized that the services provided in Baku clinic will be in such a way that the patients can be referred to all Jihad hospitals and units which cooperate with Royan and Ibn Sina Research Institutes operating in the field of infertility treatment.
"According to statistics provided by Royan and Ibn Sina Research Institutes," Tayyebi said, "infertility treatment growth rate is about 35 to 40 percent, which indicates Iran's good position in the field of infertility treatment."
He underlined the high-level academic support in Iran’s infertility treatment centers as the reason for reaching such a good growth in the field.
Pointing to the high number of foreign patients at Royan Institute, Hamidreza Tayyebi said the same developments were also represented in Royan development project.
