SAREYN, Dec. 28 (MNA) – Director of Alvares ski resort announced holding of junior ski competitions in this resort during this winter.
Director of Alvares ski resort Akbar Abdoli  said the resort, locating in Ardebil Province in northeast of Iran, and with the altitude of 3200m is the highest ski resort of Iran. This causes the resort to have snow even during the summer and could host skiers through the year.


Pointing that the snow smashing is done daily in this resort, he added “the route to the resort is always open and there is no problem to reach it.”


Abdoli said these capabilities make the resort a proper place for national competitions and the upcoming event would test the readiness of the resort.
