Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said on Wednesday that the swift trend of the oil price reductioin has indicated that it is a politically-motivated move.
  “Useful negotiations have started among members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and are being strengthened,” she added.
Speaking to reporters at her weekly press briefing, Afkham stressed “Oil should not be used as a political weapon.”

She also said Iran has decided to reduce its dependence on oil revenues.
