Yerevan, Jan 27, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said he hoped countries involved in nuclear negotiations with Iran within the Group 5+1 would be optimistic enough so that a solution is worked out.
In a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian here on Tuesday, he said these countries should be aware that they could hold dialogue with no countries while simultaneously putting pressure on them.
He said working out a solution will benefit all especially the regional countries.
Noting that discussions during nuclear talks with the 5+1 are now focusing on expert details, the Iranian foreign minister said the other parties have already accepted Iran's right to continue its enrichment activities.
Stressing that Iran has never intended to develop nuclear arms, he said Tehran is ready to offer necessary proofs about the peaceful nature of its nuclear activities to a limited numbers of countries which doubt it.
He said the existing differences on details could be removed through the political will of negotiating parties.
Zarif arrived here on Monday heading an Iranian delegation.
The 2-day visit is upon invitation of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
