TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani underlined that the US will never end its hostilities towards Iran, but its threats to attack Iran are no more than boastful remarks.
"The US always speaks of conducting war and military operations against Iran, but it cannot do anything because if it could it would have done so," Larijani said, addressing a provincial administrative council in the Western province of Hamedan.

He underlined Iran's military preparedness to confront any foreign threat, stressing that Washington is well aware of Iran's military might and knows that it has no chance of surviving Iran's response to any such military attack.

In relevant remarks last month, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi underlined Iran's military might and preparedness of the country's Armed Forces, and said that the US can no more pose any threat to Iran.

"The Americans do not dare to give a dirty look to Iran," Admiral Fadavi said, addressing the opening ceremony of Iran's 16th Naval Industries Conference in Bandar Abbas port, Southern Iran.

He reiterated that the plans and measures put into action by Iran in its defense sector have all been adopted for the sake of defending the country and deterrence purposes, adding that Iran is not at an aggressive power.
