TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Senior Iranian lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi gave an assurance that any side involved in confrontation with the Israeli regime will enjoy Iran’s support.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly announced that it will assist any country or group that stands in the anti-Zionist regime resistance front,” Boroujerdi said in a meeting with Head of the Jordanian Council for Foreign Relations Nahed Hattar, held in Tehran on Wednesday.
Boroujerdi also voiced Iran’s readiness to provide the Islamic nations with the know-how and experiences it has gained in the scientific, training and academic fields.
For his part, the Jordanian official said Amman attaches great significance to the expansion of ties with Tehran and the ways to use Iran’s experience in diverse arenas.
Hailing Iran's support for the anti-Israeli movements over the past three decades, Hattar said the nations of Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Iraq will never forget Iran's help in the sensitive junctures.
Iranian officials have time and again restated the country’s commitment to helping the anti-Israeli resistance movement, no matter Shiite or Sunni Muslims stand against the Tel Aviv regime’s brutal acts.
On Monday, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underlined Iran's determination to continue support for the Palestinian cause until its materialization.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will remain resolved (in its support) until the day that the cause of Palestine is materialized," Ayatollah Khamenei said in a meeting with Head of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine–General Command (PFLP-GC) Ahmed Jibril in Tehran.
The Leader also noted that the issue of Palestine is among the top issues of the whole Islamic world.
