PCCI in talks with foreign banks to facilitate money return

PCCITEHRAN Feb 16(Shana)--Petrochemical Commercial Company International’s (PCCI) managing director Isa Mashayekhi said the company has entered into talks with several well-known international banks and institutions with the goal of facilitating the return of financial resources Iran’s petrochemical sector earns from selling its products abroad.
Mashayekhis also expressed hope negotiations with foreign banks bear fruit in near future.

Elsewhere in his remarks he said that Iran’s unique status guarantees profitability of any investment in petrochemical sector.
He continued Iran’s petrochemical sector enjoys great potentials for further development due to having access to huge God-given oil and gas resources and provides the best opportunities for foreign companies to take part in petrochemical projects even though some companies have fixed their eyes on the results of 5+1 negotiations with Islamic Republic of Iran.
Under the terms of Geneva deal between Iran and 5+1 powers, petrochemical sector has no problem with selling its products abroad, he said, adding the sector faces some problems in terms of money transfer due to sanctions, he said.


PCCI has good relations with credible foreign companies and as a subsidiary of Persian Gulf Holding will play a bigger role in development of petrochemical sector in future, he concluded.
