TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (MNA) – Iran's Minister of Science and Technology was selected as the head of NAM Ministers of Technology summit.
The First Meeting of the NAM ministers of science, research and technology opened in Tehran with the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
Following the inaugural session, the composition of the Board was designated and Dr. Mohammad Farhadi was selected as the head of NAM ministers of technology.
Representatives from Zimbabwe, Belarus and Oman were selected as deputy director of European sector, deputy director of African sector and reporter for the meeting, respectively.
Guests representing 58 countries and international bodies, including 31 NAM ministers of technology, have taken part in the conference held from February 22-24 in Tehran.
The Non-Aligned Movement is a group of states which are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc.
