Iran's Fars news agency reported, Sunday, that 39 Chechnyan terrorists arrived in Istanbul, last week, in an attempt to infiltrate into Syria and join opposition forces in their fight against President Bashar Al-Assad.
The report claimed that this was not the first group of Chechnyans sent to Syria, explaining that Chechnyans were among the first foreign forces sent to Syria at the beginning of the armed conflict. They arrived via Azerbaijan, Britain, Georgia and Turkey.
