Tehran, March 11, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov started their official talks in Ashgabad on Wednesday.




President Rouhani was officially welcomed by President Berdimuhamedov upon his arrival in the country earlier this morning.


During his two-day stay in Turkmenistan, President Rouhani will also participate in Iranian-Turkmen businessmen gathering.

This is the third meeting between Rouhani and Berdimuhamedov.

Rouhani will sign mutual cooperation documents and plant a tree in a park as a symbol of friendship.
