Tehran, March 18, IRNA – Persian language spokesman at US Department of State said the atmosphere of nuclear talks in (the Swiss town of ) Lausanne is by far more positive than past.
Speaking to the France 24 TV channel, Eyre said the situation of the talks is much more different to what it was one and a half years ago in Geneva.
He said the two sides have made good progress and have been able to make their positions closer to each other.
However, the spokesman added, some differences have not been tackled yet and all efforts are being made to solve all other problems by March 31.
Iran and the G5+1 are negotiating to narrow their differences over Tehran's nuclear energy program ahead of a July 1 deadline.
The new round of talks in Lausanne is expected to end on March 20.
