Tehran, April 6, IRNA - Senior Iranian negotiator Hamid Baidinejad on Monday urged critics of negotiations to trust the negotiating team.

Speaking to IRNA, the official asked those political parties, individuals and news outlets that are critical of nuclear negotiations, to be patient and trust the negotiating team.


High ranking officials including the Leader and the President have been informed about the details of Iran and G5+1 talks, he added.

Baidinejad underlined that western officials and their new outlets are publishing faked reports about Iran and G5+1 talks because Iran's foreign policy towards the region is in contrast with their interests.

Iran's interpretation of negotiations is different from the westerners, he stressed

Baidinejad rejected the western allegations about military aspect of Iran's peaceful nuclear program and noted that Tehran wants to guarantee extension of its peaceful nuclear program by the means of negotiations.

Iran would continue its enrichment program and none of Iran's nuclear facilities including Arak's Heavy Water Reactor and Frodow enrichment facility will be shut down, he added.

Iranian senior negotiator said that the negotiating team has not passed the red lines during the negotiations.

Iran and Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) started their new round of talks in Lausanne, Switzerland, last week to narrow their differences over Tehran's nuclear energy program ahead of a July 1 deadline.

After nine days of hard work, the seven nations reached an understanding which laid the ground for them to start drafting the final nuclear deal.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on April 2 that according to the agreement reached between Iran and the six world powers, all the US, EU and UN Security Council sanctions against Iran will be lifted under the final deal.

'Our decision today that will be the agreed base for the final text of the Joint Plan of Action (the final deal) is of vital importance,' Zarif said reading out a joint statement at a press conference with EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Thursday.

'Now, we can start drafting the final agreement and its annexations by relying on the solutions found in the last few days,' he said after eight days of marathon talks with negotiators from the six world powers.
