The minister of culture and Islamic guidance said Sunday that Saudi Arabia has promised to hand down the toughest penalty to the abusers of two Iranian teens, adding that the punishment could include death penalty.

Ali Jannati said that his ministry has taken proper measures to deal with the sexual harassment case, adding the Culture Ministry has followed up the case through the Iranian consulate in Jeddah.
Jannati also said that Iran's ambassador in Riyadh has had several meetings with officials in Saudi Arabia, stressing that the Saudi policemen involved in the abuse will get the toughest punishment for sexually harassing two Iranian pilgrims.
