TEHRAN, Apr. 15 (MNA) – After his European tour to Spain and Portugal, Iran’s FM is to visit Indonesia next week.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to visit Indonesia next week.
Zarif visited Oman and Pakistan last week on a three-day trip to examine bilateral relations and the latest regional developments with the officials there. He further visited Kazakhstan on April 12 and stayed until Monday in the Kazakh capital city of Astana, where he met with others among the country's leaders and gave a speech at Kazakhstan University of the Humanities and Law.
He then left for Spain and met with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy Brey to express Iran’s stance on Yemen developments, ISIL and terrorism, and stressed furthering of ties between Iran and Spain.
The visits come just a few days after Iran and the 5+1 reached a preliminary understanding on Tehran's nuclear policy drafted as a statement that was jointly released by Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini on April 2 in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
