TEHRAN (ISNA)- Secretary of Iran's Technology Development and Knowledge-based Aviation and Aeronautical Industries Headquarters Manouchehr Manteghi said the country’s exports of aviation products and equipment would rise by 50 percent.
“One of the headquarters plan is rising exports of aviation and aerial industry products by 50 percent this year (which started on March 21, 2015) and we are seriously pursuing it,” he said.
He said Iran exported $100 million of the products last year which needs to go up.
Iran has already made considerable progress in aviation industry.
It held the 7th International Air and Aviation Industries Exhibition started work on the Persian Gulf island of Kish in November.
Iran's latest achievements in the aviation industries were put on display in the exhibition.
