TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian lawmakers issued a statement lauding the country's nuclear negotiators’ resistance against the West’s excessive demands.

The statement prepared by 203 Iranian parliament members reiterated good will of Iran in the talks and frequent excuses made by western Arrogant powers, and especially the US during the process.

Previous days of talks showed that US politicians are only making excuses and cannot be trusted, the statement said, adding the US wants to deprive the Iranian nation of its belongings.

“Resistance of the Islamic Republic’s negotiators against excessive demands of Arrogant countries led by the US should be lauded.”

The statement reiterated that embargo and weapons sanctions imposed on Iran need to be lifted from the first day on which Iran will start abiding by its commitment.

It also noted that Iran would not allow inspection of its military sites and inspection of its nuclear scientists
