Tehran, July 17, IRNA - President Hassan Rouhani in seperate messages to heads of state and government of Islamic countries congratulated them and their Muslim nations on the auspicious advent of Eid al-Fitr


Eid al-Fitr is an occasion to return to pure nature of the human being and sets the ground for abstaining from violence and extremism, he wrote in the messag to mark end of the holy month of Ramadhan.

'I hope that with the ehanced cooperation of all Islamic states, we will witness more than before sustained peace, tranquility and security based on spirituality, moderation and wisdom,' his message read.

The president also prayed for the Almighty Allah's blessing for dignity and prosperity of Muslims worldwide.
