Tehran, July 26, IRNA – In a bid to expand bilateral ties, regional and international cooperation and effective campaign against terrorism, Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif arrived in Qatar on Sunday evening.
During his lightning few hour visit of Doha, Zarif will meet Qatar's top officials, including Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Ale Thani and Foreign Minister Shiekh Khalid Al Atiyyah and consult with them on issues of mutual interest.
On the first leg of his regional tour after his return from Vienna and concluding the nuclear negotiations with six world powers Zarif visited Kuwait.
In Kuwait he met and conferred with Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid.
Zarif will at the end of his visit of Qatar leave for Bagdad, which will most probably be the last leg of his regional tour of Iran's Arab neighbors.
In those meeting in addition to reviewing bilateral ties and regional developments, the Iranian top diplomat briefs the regional leaders on the various aspects of the Iran-Sextet comprehensive nuclear agreement, ensuring them of its positive aftermaths for entire regional and world countries.
