TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad-Reza Nemat-Zadeh reiterated that the country’s non-oil exports would be tripled by the next three years.
“Based on the predictions made in the ministry, we will raise non-oil exports to more than three times,” he said.
He also called for setting conditions for western investors in Iran, and reiterated that part of Iranian indigenous goods need to be exported to other countries and international markets.
In mid-July, Iran and the G5+1 group of countries - the United States, China, Russia, Britain, France and Germany - agreed upon a comprehensive text, dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in Vienna, under which Iran would curtail its nuclear program in exchange for the removal of sanctions imposed on it.
