Tehran, August 4, The Iran Project – Iran’s Interior Ministry has given a five-day chance to undocumented Afghan students to enroll in Iranian schools.
Iran’s Interior Ministry has given a five-day chance to 7-18 years old Afghan students to get an educational letter of recommendation that allows them to enroll in Iranian schools.
The plan for issuing an educational letter of recommendation for Afghan students enforces for five days (August 3-7), the Interior Ministry's Bureau of Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs (BAFIA) announced.
Interior Ministry also emphasized that the plan doesn’t aim at identifying Afghan citizens not having legal residence documents.
The plan came after the Supreme Leader’s order that Afghan children, even undocumented or illegal ones, should not be deprived of education and all of them must be enrolled in Iranian schools.
