Bojnourd, North Khorassan Prov., Aug 30, IRNA – A quake shook Bojnourd and its suburbs at 19:05 hours local time (14:35 GMT) on Sunday.

The Geophysics Institute of Tehran University said no detailed report is yet available on scale, exact location and intensity of the disaster.
Iran experiences frequent earthquakes. In 2003, a magnitude-6.6 earthquake killed some 26,000 and flattened the historic city of Bam.
