TEHRAN, Sep. 13 (MNA) – Leader of the Islamic Republic has offered condolences for the victims of crane crash in Mecca during Hajj pilgrimage.

The head of Leader’s office has conveyed through phone call Leader’s condolences to Hojjatoleslam Qaziasgar, his envoy and Head of Iranian Hajj pilgrimage entourage for the death and injury of a number of Iranians in Mecca.

Hojjatoleslam Mohammadi Golpayegani also asked for more information on the health and treatment of the victims of the fall of a large crane in Mecca on behalf of the Leader of the Islamic Republic. Qazi Asgar provided the office with a general report of the situation and a statistics of deaths and injuries as well.
