TEHRAN (FNA)- Kyrgyz Ambassador to Iran Asanbeyk Osman Aliyev announced his country's willingness to broaden cultural ties with Iran.
"We are eagor to widen our relations with Tehran especially in the field of music," Aliyev told FNA on Monday.
Earlier in September, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation paid a visit to Iran to further improve bilateral ties in political, economic and cultural fields.
During his three-day stay, several documents for cooperation in different sectors were signed between the Iranian and top Kyrgyz officials.
The construction of a new railway track connecting Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China was an important issue on the agenda of talks between the Iranian and Kyrgyz presidents.
Iran and Kyrgyzstan have expanded their bilateral ties and mutual cooperation in different fields since independence of the Central Asian state in the 90s.
