Tehran, Oct 13, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said Tuesday that efforts made by all Tunisian political parties to bring about unity and national solidarity is a model for moderation and modernization in the region.

Afkham, also the head of Foreign Ministry's Center for Public and Media Diplomacy, made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Tunisian head of Iran-Tunisia Friendship Group and his accompanying counterpart.
Voicing Iran's resolve to promote relations with Tunisia, Afkham underlined the role of non-governmental organizations and friendship groups to enhance of friendly relations between different countries in all areas.
Afkham referred to mutual agreements between Iran and Tunisia in different areas, including, culture, arts, sports and the youth, as a sign of good capacities for cooperation between the two nations.
