TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (MNA) – More than 450 films from 70 countries have been submitted to the secretariat of the Iranian national cinematic competition Ammar Popular Film Festival (APFF).
The 6th Ammar Popular Film Festival has received over 450 works including documentaries, fictions and animations.
Most of the submitted works were in the field of fiction on the dual policies of the arrogant powers concerning human rights.
In the previous edition of the film festival some 700 works from 90 countries had attended the event’s international section.
Sponsored by the Office of Cultural Studies for Islamic Revolution, Ammar Popular Film Festival focuses on cultural issues of Iran’s Islamic revolution.
The annual event depicts documentaries, fictions, short films, animations, socio-economical, environmental and political issues of Iranian men and women involved in the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
The 6th edition of the festival will be held from Jan.1-7, 2016 in Tehran.
