TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (MNA) – President Rouhani’s Public and Media Relations Office has announced his blueprint in his future visit to Europe which includes a visit to Pope Francis in Vatican City.
Parviz Esmaili, the head of the office told the press on Monday that President Hassan Rouhani would head a high-ranking delegation to Italy by an official invitation of Italian president and prime minister. “The departure will be on upcoming Saturday,” he added.
“President Rouhani will have official meetings with Italian president, prime minister and other government officials; a meeting have also been planned for president with the traders and business moguls of the country including owners of great industries of Italy,” he told reporters, adding that a visit to Pope Francis and Vatican’s prime minister was also included in president’s hectic plan.
“President Rouhani will address UNESCO general assembly as a keynote speaker as special guest of the Secretary-General on upcoming Monday; on Tuesday next week, president will visit France and will be welcomed by French President Francois Hollande and will discuss matters of common interest,” Esmaili detailed. “Mr. Rouhani will depart for Tehran having held meetings with French officials,” he added.
“As with unofficial items in president’s blueprint is bilateral meetings, press conference and meeting with Italian and French media activists and journalists, meeting with elites and intellectuals, and businessmen and traders will be also in the framework of president’s 4-day visit to Europe,” Esmaili asserted.
“Among Rouhani’s crew will be government and cabinet members,” he told the press, however did not mention specific names.
