TEHRAN, Nov. 15 (Shana) – Iran Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) raised its gas condensate exports from the supergiant South Pars gas field by at least 80% year-on-year during the month of Mehr (7th month in Persian calendar, September 23-October 22), IOTC chief said.
Pirouz Mousavi, managing-director of the company, said that IOTC loaded 14.7 million barrels of condensate during the month from three single point moorings (SPM).
Last Mehr, IOTC loaded 8.12 mb of the item to be transferred to foreign destinations.
Inauguration of phase 12 of the massive South Pars, the field's biggest phase which is equal to three phases, was very important in boosting condensate recovery from the field, Mousavi added. Phase 12 came on line in March 2014.
The rise will be more tangible once phases 15 to 18 of the gas field come on-stream, he said.
IOTC's loading of gas condensate during first half of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21 was 16 higher year-on-year. The company loaded 73.8 million barrels of the product from South Pars phases.
