Tehran, Nov 16, IRNA – The 11th court session of the oil billionaire, Babak Zanjani, and two other defendants wrapped up on Wednesday.
The tenth court hearing was held on November 17.
Presiding judge, Abolqasem Salavati, judged the today session like the previous ones.
Some 15 pages of total 200 pages of Zanjani's defense document have not been read to the court, yet.
Zanjani, 41, was arrested on December 30, 2013, on charges of corruption. He is one of Iran's wealthiest businessmen, with a fortune worth an estimated $14 billion.
Zanjani and two other respondents face money laundering charges lodged in a 40,000-page lawsuit which led to his indictment.
The two defendants are facing charges of complicity in money laundering, forgery and fraud.
Zanjani was jailed when charges were brought up against him for misappropriating two billion euros belonging to the Ministry of Petroleum.
So far, Zanjani has undergone 40 interrogation sessions, and 200 people were served subpoenas and questioned as informed suspects.
