TEHRAN, Jan. 09 (MNA) – Spokesperson of Iran’s Army has said there is no need that Iran officially announces the range of its missiles.Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri who was participating a mourning ceremony in a mosque in Tehran on Saturday, briefly responded to a question about the western media accounts on the range of Iran’s missiles.
Western media had reported earlier that Iran’s missiles had a range of 2,400km; “we feel no need to officially disclose range of our missiles; any speculation about the figures are merely by the government bodies and are not independently verified by the Armed Forces,” told Jazayeri to a reporter asking the question.
About Saudi Arabian targeting of a building adjacent to Iran’s Sana'a embassy, the commander said that the Islamic Republic of Iran would entertain, at current conditions, waging efforts to bring peace and stability to the region as a major priority; “the Islamic Republic of Iran would not tolerate such miscalculations and ridiculous actions as targeting the embassy,” Jazayeri briefly commented.
