Tehran, January 17, The Iran Project – Managing Directors of Iran's Power Plant Projects Management Company (MAPNA) expresses the company's readiness to meet Iranian oil ministry's needs through manufacturing of oil industry related machinery.
Abbas Ali Abadi, the managing director of MAPNA made the remarks on Sunday, expressing the company's readiness to meet all of the Iran's industrial needs in the field of oil.
Highlighting the company's high capacity in manufacturing of machinery, he underlined MAPNA's vast investment in manufacturing of the oil industries machinery.
"MAPNA has launched producing the flow meters, boilers, pressure vessels and other constructions applied in oil industries" Ali Abadi said, adding that today 12 kinds of turbines are employed in oil industries, all of which are localized by MAPNA group inside the country.
Referring to the firm's joint venture with international firms, he pointed out the signing the cooperation agreements with German Siemens and other European entities.
Earlier, MAPNA group announced that it is building a natural gas combined cycle power plant in Iraq’s Basra at a cost of $2.5 billion with the aim of adding 3,000 megawatts of electric power to Iraq’s national grid.
