London, Feb 5, IRNA – British Foreign Minister Phillip Hammond emphasizing need for full normalization of bilateral ties in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Javad Zarif here on Friday said Tehran and London can cooperate to resolve regional crises.
'We have faced various challenges due to having very restricted ties for years, but now we are trying to overcome those challenges,' he added.
The British top also diplomat said that Iran and Britain can cooperate, get to know each other better, and find solution for the regional crises is joint efforts.
'This morning we also discussed the conditions in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and the intensified tension between Iran and some southern neighbors of the Persian Gulf,' he added.
He said that more interactions between Tehran and London will lead to easier finding of acceptable solutions for establishment of sustainable peace and stability in the region that will assist the people to build their future at greater ease.
