Tehran, Feb 13, IRAN - Chairman of the Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Saturday that Munich talks on Syrian are now proceeding and it is expected to bear fruits to the benefit of the Syrian people.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Expediency Council, Rafsanjani referred to the preliminary talks in Munich on Syria and said such talks aim to halt hostile acts and does not mean 'ceasefire' but its prospect sounds promising.
The Syrian government and people are not optimistic about the results of Munich talks but it seems the overall satiation will be to the benefit of the Syrian nation, Rafsanjani said.
