Tehran, March 7, The Iran Project – Iran’s vice-president for science and technology announces that following the deputy’s attempts and initiatives, the 120th Iranian elite expat returned the country, today.
Sorena Sattari, Iran’s vice-president for science and technology made the remarks on Monday during the second meeting of the knowledge-based economic activists to investigate the tax related challenges facing the knowledge-based firms in Iran.
Referring to the attempts made by the deputy to return the Iranian elite expats to the country, he told that so far 120 of Iranian experts residing abroad have come back Iran.
He also stated that majority of the Iranians had expressed interest to work in the engineering sections of the Iranian knowledge-based firms, adding no major facility has been provided for these people and the mere attention was the reason for their comeback.
Elsewhere in his speech, he noted the growth in Iran’s export of medicine to Russia by Iranian knowledge-based organizations.
Stressing Iranian firms capacities in biotechnology and their high ranking in the region, he hoped that in post deal era the value of medicine exports to Russia hit 500 billion dollars.
